This gun is boxed in its original green cardboard box with 100% of the label intact.Made by Brooklyn Firearms Co. in Brooklyn NY, these were another attempt to circumvent the Rollin White "bore through patent" controlled by Smith & Wesson. Made in Brooklyn NY. The Silver plated brass frame is scroll engraved with a lovely patina on it. The barrel is blued and the finish has thinned to brown in some areas, the cylinder retains 70% of the original blue. Action is tight and crisp. Serial number 2640 on the bottom of the frame. This gun is absolutely original and with the original cardboard box, there has been some professional restoration to the box, some of the corners have been reinforced, and the hinge has been reinforced also. There was an old repair to the compartments with airplane glue. This gun would go well in any collection of New York City made guns.
